The SPT-16 is a state-of-the-art 16-passenger, 100-meter capable submarine originally constructed by Sulzer Bros. in Switzerland and then completed and ABS-classed by U.S. Submarines in 1995.

This is an advanced submarine built with meticulous attention to detail. No expense was spared in the submarine's construction. Indeed, Sulzer is said to have spent over $9 million building the vehicle.

The SPT-16 has the largest viewports in its class. Luxury leather seating, an advanced control and navigation system and an excellent air conditioning and life support system characterize this submarine. The smaller size makes it easy to transport and allows successful operations in areas with fewer incoming tourists. The submarine would also be perfect as a personal luxury vehicle for private use. This is clearly the best bargain in the tourist submarine industry and by far the lowest cost potential personal luxury submarine in its size range.

The SPT-16 has been optioned by a U.S. Submarines' client and will begin operation in a continental U.S. location in the third quarter of 2008.
